Help On Board Introduces New Child Safety Game with Child Find Ontario

Help On Board has developed a new non-opoly style game, “Safetyville” as a new vertical model.

This new family game, developed in conjunction with Child Find Ontario, focuses on child safety, employing a fun educational format for both children and adults alike.

Through sponsorship and retail sales the new game concept is forecast to raise over $500,000 for Child Find Ontario.

New Partnerships On Board for 2004

2004 should prove to be an exceptional year for “On Board™” and our partners across North America. Already contracts have been signed in St. Catharines with proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Society Niagara Region and for Blue Sky Region On Board, in north eastern Ontario. This last project is a hybrid tourism model benefiting the Blue Sky Region Tourism Sector and the Community Waterfront Friends in North Bay, Ontario.

In addition, applications have been received from, or serious discussions are underway with the following communities for an “On BoardTM” project:

Upcoming Launches
October has seen a record number of launches of “On Board™” initiatives in support of a diverse group of causes.

Paul Shaffer is lending his support to Thunder Bay On Board, which launched October 9th, to an audience of over 300 people. During the first three days of sales, a record 1,000 games were sold. Watch for highlights on the David Letterman Show in October.
Regina On Board launched October 9th with proceeds to The Friends of the Roughriders. With over 1,100 games sold in the first week, the initial order of 3,500 games is expected to sell out quickly with six Canadian Tire dealers and the Roughrider’s “Green Store” set to retail the games.
 
Red Deer On Board launches October 29th and is projected to raise $100,000 to assist in the building of more than two homes for needy families by Habitat for Humanity.
 
Manitoba Theatre Centre achieved $160k in total sponsorship, the third highest in Help On Board history. With 500 games pre-sold, Winnipeg On Board which launches October 30th is off to a great start.
St. John's On Board is looking forward to strong retail sales for their upcoming launch November 5th. Thanks to the support of their principal retail partner Sobeys and additional partners, St. John’s On Board will be available at over 20 retail outlets.
